I am an attorney  with over sixteen years of experience in the fields of commercial real estate transactions, commercial lending and general business representation. My transactional practice focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development and entitlements, construction, and financing involving large mixed-use projects, retail projects, shopping centers, office buildings, multi-family residential complexes, hotel and recreational complexes, and industrial facilities.

 

As a native of the Washington Metropolitan Area, I have keen knowledge of the Maryland and D.C. area real estate markets and have represented clients for many years in connection with virtually all aspects of commercial real estate transactional law. In addition to my legal training,  I also have a masters degree in real estate from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.  From a business standpoint, I am able to understand and analyze my clients’ business objectives, effectuate creative problem-solving strategies and provide legal advice better geared toward minimizing my clients’ business risk.

 

Although I always strive to be a zealous advocate for my client, my approach to every negotiation and transaction is to be fair and pragmatic with opposing parties and counsel with a mindset towards closing a transaction that satisfies the business objectives of my clients in a cost-efficient manner.
